The City Veterinary Office headed by Dr. Donovan Marcellana, in cooperation with Zen Cats Association Inc. and Hayop Kalinga organized “Libreng Kapon Para sa mga Babaeng Pusang Kalye” on November 15, 2017 at the Alonte Sports Arena. Twenty six (26) female cats were spayed while one (1) male cat was neutered. The primary purpose of spaying and neutering is to remove the cat’s ability to reproduce. This procedure is also important to help communities to control the number of stray cats. It prevents unwanted births and reduces the influence of sex hormones on pet’s behavior.more photos
